East Herts Radio – “Stay Home Stay Safe” – Campaign
Written by Mickey Gocool on 20th April 2020
Here at East Herts Radio, we wanted to do our bit for our community about
staying home and staying safe. With so many people out and about especially with the sunny days, we really needed to find a way to sending a simple yet effective message to everyone very similiar to the current Rainbow Drawings you see being displayed in the windows of homes up and down the UK.
So we thought how fantastic it would be to launch our own East Herts Radio CIC campaign locally to emphasise the message of Staying Home.
We thought it would be a great for Children of ALL AGES from 0 – 99 years of age, to draw picture of their home with their family members inside “Doing what they do” at home.
The Children can use any materials they like as long as you are able to take a picture of it or scan it.
Now here is the good bit!
To participate, all you have to do is submit your child’s picture by email to STAYHOME@EASTHERTSRADIO.CO.UK and include your name, your child’s name and age and the area they are from. The image must include the tagline ” #stayhomestaysafe”.
ALL entries received will be posted in our Stay Home Stay Safe Gallery on our website and the Child will get a mention on the Saturday brunch Show between 10 – 12 AM
We think it’s a fantastic idea for our children to do this to reinforce the message. Keeping our family safe is definitely a priority for us all.
