Celebrate diversity and inclusivity as Stort Pride returns for its fifth vibrant year this August in East Hertfordshire. Welcoming the LGBTQIA2S+ community, their friends, families, allies, and advocates, the 2024 festivities promise a colourful array of events and performances.

Event Highlights:

Friday, August 9th – Evening Celebration:

Kick off the weekend with an electrifying evening of entertainment at South Mill Arts. The night will be headlined by the multi-talented Drag King sensation, Don One. Known for their dynamic performances in singing, comedy, and rapping, Don One has recently captivated audiences as the MC of Joe Lycett’s ITV Late Night Show.

● General Sale Tickets: are for anyone aged 16+ (with at least one supporting adult aged 18+).
● Queeraoke: Following Don One’s performance, embrace the spirit of Pride with Queeraoke, where everyone is encouraged to sing and dance like nobody’s watching.

Saturday, August 10th – Solidarity Parade and Daytime Festivities:

The celebrations continue on Saturday with a day dedicated to unity and expression:

● Solidarity Parade: Starting at 10:00 AM from Sworders Field, join us in a powerful march through Bishop’s Stortford. Opening the vibrant celebrations are LGBTQIA2S+ Alpha Dancers. Let’s raise our voices and presence to advocate for inclusivity and equality.
● Family-Friendly Program: From 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM at South Mill Arts, enjoy a day filled with free events suitable for all ages. The fabulous Drag Queen Tiana Biscuit will host the event, showcasing her Broadway-worthy voice while introducing an exciting lineup of performers. Entertainment and Activities:
● Performances: Delight in a variety of acts, including local singers, poets, and a special appearance by London-based comedian and author Rosie Wilby. Stay tuned for our yet-to-be-announced headline act!
● Community Engagement: Explore a range of stalls in the Gilbey Room, discover local community groups, and engage with charities and support services.
