Starlight Stars provide fun and friendly performing arts classes to children from 4yrs to 18yrs to improve social skills, build confidence and friendships, whilst having fun and learning the art of performing.

Starlight Stars provide Group Classes, One to One Private Tuition, LAMDA & RockSchool Training & Examinations all within a fun and friendly environment from the Standon & Puckeridge Community Centre in Standon.  

Group Lesson prices start from just £5* and Private Lessons from £24*

In April 23, Starlight Stars celebrated their 20th Anniversary and put on a celebratory show “Through the Decades” to mark this momentous occasion.  

The Principal Alison Latchford has been with Starlight Stars for 15yrs and worked with the original founder Alexandra James to build this performing arts school up from the ground.  

Alison’s heart is always with her performing arts school Starlight Stars. Reaching 20yrs for this small performing arts school has been tough, having survived the Covid lockdowns, recessions and the current COL crisis it just goes to show the tenacity of Alison and the Starlight Stars team.  

It’s never been more important to support small independent businesses, especially one such as Starlight Stars who work to grow children and teens into shining stars on stage and screen. 

Starlight has Alumni students who went into the West Ends ‘School of Rock’ and ‘Adrian Mole’ musicals, another in the BBC series of ‘Hetty Feather’.
