Witness appeal following RTC in Bishop’s Stortford

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a road traffic collision in Bishop’s Stortford.

The incident occurred at around 8.15pm on Thursday 30 March, on Waytemore Road.

It is reported that two vehicles, a white Porsche 911 and a Fiat 500, were involved.

A woman, who was driving the Fiat, sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The occupants of the Porsche left the scene prior to police arrival. The driver of this vehicle has since come forward and is assisting police with enquiries. No arrests have been made at this stage.

Sergeant Stuart Rogers, who is investigating, said: “Our enquiries are continuing and I am asking for anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police to please come forward.

“If you also have a dash cam fitted and were travelling in the area at the time, please check it as you may have recorded some important footage that could assist our investigation. Anyone with information is asked to please email me at stuart.rogers@herts.police.uk.”
