The Gallery in Sawbridgeworth is a Well Known music venue and bar that has often been used as an art gallery and community space is set to close its doors for the final time on the 31st of December. 

An announcment was made on the 23rd of October via The Gallery's Facebook Page stating :

As of 31st December, The Gallery Sawbridgeworth will be closing permanently. It has been a very difficult decision to make, however we have decided to go out on a high. 

We have had a fantastic journey, made some great friends and been privileged to work with some amazingly talented musicians. 

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, and to those of you who didn't make it, we're sorry that we won't be staying open to give you the chance to have one of the best night's out in Sawbridgeworth. 

For the rest of the year we will continue to offer live music and entertainment every weekend

We look forward to welcoming you at The Gallery until the doors close for the very last time. 

Oh and don't forget.....our last ever Comedy Club is this Friday. Join us for one more night of belly laughing entertainment. 

It is understood that there are several parties interested in the property with a view to keep provinding entertainment and a General community space.
